This specialist study tour will visit Florence Nightingale’s museum in Istanbul, where modern nursing was established, and review her singular contribution to nursing. You will visit Gallipoli and examine how the military shaped the nursing profession, with these structures still evident in modern nursing today. You will also visit your nursing peers in both Turkey and Greece. Learn how Nightingale helped develop nursing in Turkey and gain firsthand insight into local approaches to nursing and healthcare.
